Receiver Hangs after 10 seconds

hi i have anew technomate 1500ci+ receiver, i applied the latest firmware and then the darkman patch, when i restart the screen hangs after 10 seconds or so, i cant get to the menu option to restore factory settings as the screen hangs before i do, also i have learned how to try and do a hard factory reset of the receiver by holding down the power and upper button keys simultaneously however, again before i get to clear the nvram option the screen hangs, is there any software/firmware out there that i can use to flash the receiver using the null modem cable ?

You could try going to the Technomate web site and downloading the latest official software to your receiver and see if that solves the problem. If it does then download darkmans loader and software. If still is AOK then you are smiling. If not download the official Technomate software again and then complain to your supplier and demand a refund or another receiver.
