Which one has the better image quality? I like that the Panasonic uses SD cards and it records in 5.1 channel audio.. but I heard the resolution isn't as good as on the Sony HD camcorders. Which one should I get?

You can save only 40 minutes in best picture mode on 4GB card. And that "best mode" is much worse than HDV.
But if you're not interested in editing and you wait until 8GB cards are available, Panasonic may be quite good choice. But we all have to wait until professional reviews. |
