Question Canon HV10 vs Sony HC7

Does anyone know how the Canon HV10 and the Sony HC7 compare,
picture wise? The camera design is completely different, and though
i prefer the esthetics of the HV10, my feeling is that the HC7 may be a
better choice.

Why don't you download some footage of low light scenes from our site and compare for yourself. HV20 footage is also available, hence comparing HC7 with HV20 would be more appropriate considering the improved low light.

After all, that is what this site is all about,

Yes, I think I'll take a look as well, and decide.
