Has anyone tried to use tapes from other mini DV cams in HV10. I have old tapes from my Panasonic Camcorder and I want to know if I upgrade to the HV10 if they will still work. Thanks.

Yup, they are fine. As long as they are well maintained and the tape is not chewed up or scratched.
If you have used tapes quite a bit you may experiense half-second "skips" over bad tape. Happens to me often with old tapes. |

Thanks for the info. I was very worried I would not have access to my old tapes. I usually use my tapes once and never erase them. I keep them as a tape backup to the computer transfers. Thanks again.
