Have a look on this site of a german professionalist (he is doing tests for a good video journal). It´s not a review, but some footage and optimizations using contrast / sharpness -1 (great differences! Also to HC7)
BTW, he is using PAL-version of HV20, not NTSC (about 15-20% more bits per frame: for 50i due to lower framerate, for 25p there is no hard-telecine). Also the instant-focus problem might be definetively fixed in this version. |

ib84, thanx for the german link. Now, i can say without a doubt that the Hv20 is better ! lowlight performance is unexpected from a camcorder at this range of price
