Default Panasonic Announces New P2 Card

Hi,Here?s some good news for any and all of you upset with the amount of storage space available in the P2 camcorder line?Panasonic has developed and unveiled a new 16GB solid-state memory card for their P2 camcorders. Each card is capable of holding 16 minutes of high-definition, 1080-line-interlace (1080i) video at 60 frames-per-second. This DOUBLES the previous storage capacity per card,Any comments?Binu

Even the new card is very expensive - The work flow needed for a shoot longer than an hour makes this camera hard to take into the field, but wow does it look good. Ahh the cost of stunning image....

i've seen the cards drop by a large amount recentley after the introduction of this new card. I saw some website selling an 8gb card for about 50quid more than the 4gb. unfortunately i forget which one it was, but! nevertheless they are coming down.
