Default Sony HC7 Super NightShot Infrared System

Does anybody have HC7 infrared footage or know where to find some cause I really wonder if they have improved it at all and what the video performance is like? Thanks

I am also interested in the nightshot mode of the HC7. As i have heared this mode will only allow a view distance of lets say 3-4 meters.

I found out sony offers an additional infrared lamp as accessoiry, which will make the nightshot mode work on a range of 20 meters. Has anyone experience with this lamp? Are there lamps available which work on even longer ranges (maybe 30 meters)?

Hi!

If you like filming in the dark, you could just buy one or two "infrared-sun-gun". Mounted to the camera they improve the nightshot-performance bigtime! Check their website.

Hi nulsum,

sounds great! Can you give me the URL of the Website? Do have an idea where to buy these in Germany?

regards,
naldo

Hi!

Don?t know where to buy them in Germany, but check this site:

http://www.batmanagement.com/Orderin...t/irlight.html

Then start searching for an alternative or a shopping resource in your country. Such lights are often sold as an addition for infrared-night-scopes.
