The only thing stopping me buying is this high pitch humm or tape that noise people are saying is unacceptable, can anyone with a HV10 please post a reply about there noisey or quiet HV10 many thanks

It's there alright.
But if you consider that all audio from that cute cam is trash, it's no big deal. The mic is on top, that helps only if you tape your own feet and not your subject. |

Could be the other issue-
My old HC1 recorded room noise at higher freq. Played back through comp speakers it sounded like continuous fizz, played back on home theater it added volume (as in "depth of perceived dimension") and clarity to the recording. I haven't heard HV10 yet, but i'll take a listen. Kinda got me curious! |
