The SPK-HCC housing is definitely the correct housing for the HC7. I received mine today, a day before my camera is due to arrive, and the HC7 is clearly called out in the manual.

Do you think you could take some pictures of the SPK-HCC housing? I've been looking everywhere for a more extensive view but everything I'm seeing is that one front view.
Thanks

I'll gladly snap a few photos after work and post them. Hopefully I can have something up by 7 or 8 P.M. EST. From what I can see there are adapter plates that mount the camera to the housing and a connector that plugs into the camera to control the camera functions. If the connector in the SPK-HCC and SPK-HCB are identical I would almost recommend saving the ~$100 difference in price and purchase the HCB and modify the adapter plate to suit the HC7. I will gladly measure up the adapter plate for the HC7 and post dimensions if anyone is interested.
