Jae, I know the feeling, I actually left work early to try it out. You can imagine how I felt when I did not have my firewire cable. I looked everywhere but I new I had it in my laptop case at work. O,well HDMI direct from the HV20 to my HD TV made all OK. I still have a couple of hours at work so yea your ahead of me. I hope you received it. I just noticed that B&H is now out of stock. You think the review had something to do with it??

I2chil,

I started a new thread on this camera and have uploaded 4 or 5 sample videos. I have yet to see them on the video page. I am sure they will be up by the morning.

Here in Canada (Toronto, Ontario specifically) they JUST recieved the HV20 in stores today. Well some stores, Henrys (henrys.com) got them in just today and they have ONE left, they are sold out on their website already, either they are in short supply or flying off the shelves. The only problem with Henrys is that is $1399 CND whereas at other shops around toronto (Amazing Photo Inc.) they are $1299 (Canadas MSRP), but haven't arrived yet. I haven't seen them available at any other store but if anyone knows let me know, I am dying to grab one and saving $100 and still getting it now would be great.

Any updates on UK PAL availability would be good too

It is starting to appear on a few sites but nobody has stock. Dabs are currently quoting £733 with 3-4 days wait .....

In Europe I have just found the hv20 in http://www.technikdirekt.de
well priced, although i will wait to compare it to other places.

Is deff looking like Dabs.com for the UK unless you risk ebay USA shipment?
