HV20 Availability - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Given past experiance US and Canada, who knows which canon video dealer will receive the first shipment of HV20. I am leaving on a trip to Ireland April 19 and would love to bring a HV20 along.

Amazon.com says it will ship April 6th. I just pre-ordered one from them no tax a $3.99 for overnight shipping. I should get it by April 9th since the 6th is a Friday. I will post when I have it in my hands!

PS They also have a good return policy incase I don't like it I can return it. Most of the other online sellers will not return an item like this without a huge restocking fee.

I did not notice a ship date the last time I looked, April 6th sounds good.

Vistek in Canada has the HV20 listed with a release date of Mar. 30.

That is the soonest date I have seen, not sure if I want to pay $1399.00.
Going price seems to be $1199.00.

CDW.com has the HV20 in stock right now for $1,099.

Sorry for the confusion, that price was US. I just was emailed by B&H saying they have the HV20 available for shipment, called to confirm and yes they are available to ship (not in store). I placed order via their web site. I hope to have confirming ship date on Thursday 3/22. B&H seems to take a little longer varifing the order based on past experiance. Other then that I have been happy with orders placed in the past with them. Will see on this one, they seem to have the earliest ship date. I cancelled my order with Amazon.
