Can someone tell if the HC7 records HDV at a progressive framerate of 25fr/sec? Any further remarks on that?

No the oparating guide says 24i

I believe there is a PAL version that shoots 1080i at 50fps (fields, not frames), but it is still interlaced. There is some sort of cinima-like mode, but I've never heard of anyone who liked the effect and it's not progressive.
