Default Z1 or Canon XH-A1 ?

does anyone have any opinions on the XH-A1 vs the Sony Z1?? I have a Z1 but thinking of getting a 2nd camera for wedding work (where low light performance is a valuable asset!)

Will they match up footage wise? Will the Canon recorded HDV play back on the Sony and vice versa??

Anyone have any comments?

Steve

The quality is very similar. It's probably a good idea to stick to the Z1.

i hve seen footages from both n based on the pricing now.. it is difinitely more worthy to get the canon. it has 24f functions and more tweakability.

are the two tapes interchangeable? ie can i take footage shot in Sony and play back or capture into the Mac using the canon and vice versa? anyone know?!

thanks again

Does anyone know when both the Sony Z1 and Canon A1 came onto the market, please?

why canon?
1. More zoom range
2. 24/25 fps
3. Much more customisation
4. more details and sharpness

why sony?
1. hdmi

so you choose...
