@toni

I?ve found a testversion of MF6 (very old magazin) and the last thing that I have to do, is buing a camcorder. At the moment I ?am not sure which one is the best for me. I want one of the new HD - Cam (Sony HC5,7 or Canon HV10,20), just waiting for usefull test and vids.

thx

MF6 just came out recently in end 2006

Go to the ulead link I gave there you can dowload the MF6 version for one month test.
The MF6 standard (sufficient) is priced around 50 S
The MF6 plus (more functions) and higher price

I'm familiar with Final Cut Pro, but I use PCs at home and I've heard Adobe's Premiere Pro 2 is the best software for PC. Is this true? I want a program similar in it's abilities to FCP if one exists.

Sony vegas 7 seems to be the easiest one, good stability and fast learning curve.
Vegas 7 is a new version not Premiere2 (its out there for a while now)

I've used Premiere since 4.0 and I have finally switched to Edius 4. Edius takes some getting used to but it's by far a superior program.

I use PP2 and find it exellent as far as editing is concerned. Things become a little more complicated when your final product may vary. Like exporting it to DVD. Obviously having to downsize 1440x1080 into 720x576 for PAL. Issues I've encountered are softer image and noise artefacting on the DVD output. Cineform in conjuction with NLE's like PP2 is always a good go. Cineform is an exellent programme that works in conjunction. Infact if you are going pro I would say don't leave home without it.
