Default hc7 to xbox 360 hd-dvd?

Hello everyone.....
I've read on a different forum that HDV format can be authored to regular dvd5 or dvd9 disks and played back on the toshiba hd-dvd in 1080i.

Does anyone know if this can be played back on the xbox360 hd-dvd?

Thanks again

It should be possible but it will need the latest editing software to covert it and you'll need a HD burner

hi beginner question but related to the original question

I am considering buying one of these cameras but a major plus point would be if i could stream footage from my pc to my xbox so i could store it on my pc watch it on my plasma downstairs.

how possible would it be to get the footage into a wmv format for streaming without comprimising the quality?

You might want to consult the "professionals" at this forum:

Otherwise, I heard that one of the solutions is to hook up an USB drive to xbx and play from there.

Encoding is easy, albeit unbearably slow. Will test your nerves and character traits.

Apple TV sounds a nice toy for streaming.
