Default Editing HV20 24 p footage

Is capturing and editing HV20 footage taken in 24p mode supported in most NLE's such as Final Cut (Pro and Express HD), Premiere, etc.

yup, works like a charm, I have tried it with various editing programs, Vegas 7.0, Pinnacle, Final Cut, and MainConcepts Encoder. All seem to work fine, some have better encoder codecs so test them out to see which gives you the required effects.

Does it change anything in terms of file size or is it the same as 'normal' HD vidéo ?

I am using Vegas 7 to edit my videos and I can't see any difference in 24p videos in terms of file size.

Thanks. I still don't fully understand the difference between 24p and normal, but the vidéos sample look really good.

I Think I'm gonna have a HV20 as soon as it's available in France.

I tried Adobe After Effects the other day and it seem to work fine. I just don't like the program much because it is so complicated and takes a long time to render the video. Other then that it had no problems with some 24p and 1080i footage I shot on the HV20.

Isn't 24p footage transferred as 60i? I believe that's how it works.
So shouldn't be any different in editing.
But if you want to publish it again as 24p it becomes more complicated.
