Default Which camcorder for beginner?

I want to buy a camcorder for my summer holliday and it have to be something for future, because of it I think it must be Sony HC5, HC7 or Canon HV20. I?m just a beginner. Can somebody say to me which one of 3 I should buy?

Wait for HV20. If that disappoints- wait for HV30

But, I like hV20 better than hc7.

If you can afford it get the Canon HV20. This is the camera to beat right now, and know one can beat it for $1,100 not ecen Sony!

why don't u recommand anything from Sony. Panasonic, JVC? I'm a newbe...I just want to know the diffrence between those & canon HV20

sony has an ugly color palette
Panny don't have good compression
JVC has awfullest image stabilization

HV20 has all of those, even if it feels cheap on the outside.


Been to store, checked out the JVC HD7, OIS is really as bad as the clips on this site.
I wonder about the price tag?
