Default HD: HV20 vs DX1 vs HC7 vs JVC

Hi everyone,
excuse my English, I'm Italian.
Since you are very specialized in HD, i'm asking you which is the better ones ?
Reading posts I'll go for HV20 expecially for the lower light and for minidv (more time recording and more economical).
What do you think ?

I think you'd be wise to see some hands-on reviews of the JVC HD7 before taking the plunge. It will cost more, but I think it may offer alot more. One interesting thing I heard is that it's able to record video not only to its 60g HDD, but also to an SD card (like the Sony HC7 and Panasonic SD1). I'm also very disappointed to hear about Canon's weak zoom control. To me that's absolutely critical. If you can't have solid control of your zoom (especially in the middle of something important), that's a big miss from Canon.

The only video and stills I have seen from the JVC HD7 is here:

I have not seen how well it performs in low light (I don't think anyone has seen much HD7 footage yet!)

The Canon HV20 seems to do an excellent job in low light- follow this link to a good example of how the HV20 does in low light:

It seems that the HD7 doesn't perform very well when you look carefully at the footage at impress watch you mentioned. On nearly all videos you can see mpeg2 "squares" you can't see for the same footage for the HV20 and HC7 from sony. Quality of HD7 seems very bad to me compared to others...

I tried an HD7 the other day and I thought the picture was terrible. I also tried the Sony HC7 and the SR1. I thought the picture on the Sony camera's was amazing. I plan on getting an HV20 as soon as I can find one.
