Default Macro Photography using the HV20

This is a subject I have not seen too many people talk about using a Camcorder but I just want to say that the HV20 is amazing when it comes to Macro Photography. I am able to put the camera right up to the surface of an object and it is able to focus on that object with incredible detail. I will post some sample Macro video later tonight. Please download some of these samples to see what I am talking about.

Hi jaelupo,
That would be interesting. Would love to see how hv20 performs in real close ups.

And as for your uploads the statistics figures show much other members were eagerly waiting for these footages, as they have gulped down all, as if they were starving for a month.

However a note for users who download are requested to discuss about the particular shot, just below the video page. All general talk can be done in forums. Also take time to thank our uploaders.

Regards
Binu

Binu,

I will get you that macro footage tonight. I would like to say that your site is one of the only sites on the Internet right now that has this much HV20 footage. There are a lot of people that want to see what this little camera can do. I hope these clips get you a lot of traffic on your site.

Much thanks for all the footage!

You must have a lot of patience, (or your upload speed is fast)

Could you do a less-than-full shot (knees and up) of somebody sitting down? a stranger, perhaps?

(I'd like to see how would it go for an upstart tv show)

I have two bonded T1s and I am able to upload at 3MB per second. Very fast as far as upload speeds go.

I am going to the Los Angeles Zoo tomorrow so I will try to get some good clips including the one you requested.

I still consider the HV20 mainly used for video. Until the later future will camcorders really be considered as a dual machine both for photos and videos

Default Just what I need..

I'm in the market for a new camera, and excellent macro capability is high on my list....

Still, the forthcoming GRHD7 beckons me....
