Default Would love to see some HV20 1080p footage?

Be great to see a short 1080p clip not only in 1440x1080 to tape but full 1920x1080 which is recorded straight to your pc so I gather?

I have just noticed Jaelupo posted some footage: http://www.listvideo.com/details.php?image_id=108

But love to see more thanks Jaelupo

Simon,

I don't have an HDMI capture card for my computer as of yet but I can try a 3:2 Pull down on one of my video clips and upload that. That would be as good as it gets until I get a capture card (still about $250).

I will keep uploading samples as long as I have something interesting to shoot. It gets hard to think of new things to film. I also get a lot of strange looks when I am out filming. People don't know you are shooting in HD and wonder why you are filming a flower or a trash truck. Everything just looks amazing in HD. Keep checking back here and I will try to keep uploading.

Jae

Isn't it always recorded in 1440x1080i? Do you mean using software to achieve 1080p?

No, it's actually recording 1080p - the first cam of it's kind!

HV20 wont do any 1080 upon specification
1920 * 1080i is interlaced ond douwnsampled to registered 1440 1080i on tape
Where from did you get the information of 1980 * 1080p (progressive) capacity using hdmi to a PC ?

It has been sugested that HV20 will output to computer via hdmi at 1980 * 1080i .
I've never had any "official " information confirming this and would like to know 1-if that is true 2- Froom what source this information is coming from
