what would be more wise - go with the XL2 with interchangeable lenses and the "film like" video or the XH-A1 since in a few years everything will be HD? Just would like to know your opinions on each of the cameras or others... im looking to create a documentary type video with no words kinda like Ron Frick's Baraka, but I don't really know much about anything camera related so a little help would be nice.

Film look is definitely something some of us always crave for- but life is just an ol' big compromise.
xl h1 would best- changeable lens and HD. |
