Default Capture Question on HC7

Hey everyone,

So I am fairly new to the editing world... Keep that in mind...

I just got my shiney new HC7 Camcorder in the mail yesterday and have been busy all day today getting some cool new footage. I have Final Cut Pro 5 on my Mac.

I finally got all the setting set up, hooked up with Firewire (which I had to buy...) and started to capture some clips. Unfortunately they look like crap in the view window after I capture them. They seem to be really wavey and sort of blurry. What am I doing wrong? ANY help you can provide is MUCH appreciated.

check all of your settings before you capture again. or use sony Vegas one to capture your footage. before captureing just play your footage on a HDTV using a HDMI cable.
