I just uploaded a Time Lapse sample for anyone intrested in shooting Time Lapse in HD. This is sample was clip shot in 1080i mode with the shutter set to 2000 in full manual mode. The original clip was 15 minutes and almost 3 GB in size, the final clip is 30 seconds and 125 MB in size. First I brought the clip into Vegas 7 and sped up the clip. Next I rendered the clip in 24p with H.264 compression. Then I brought it into Vegas again and sped it up more, rendered it again and brought it in to Vegas one more time to speed it a little more. I then did a final render to the file you have here. It took 15 minutes to film, 15 minutes to transfer to the computer, 70 minutes for the first render, 7 minutes for the second render, and 5 minutes for the last render. A lot of work for a 30 second clip!! This is a good example of the Time Lapse capabilities of the HV20 and Vegas 7.
