Sweet! I am glad I got my HV20 when it was released and did not wait. I knew it was a good camera and now it is proven, hands down!

I agree with that rating cause the footage the HV20 produces is truly amazing. Especially the 24p footage makes footage look like from Hollywood. How is the low light performance on the HV20 though?

don, rsen has shared some comparrative footage here
The best consumer level cam on low light is without any doubt HV20 (and it comes out to be the best in dealing with colours in normal light too);
I've an old already sony HC1; if canon was a little better bilt (plastic feeling according to reviews and users) I would have been keen to switch

actually to be fair, many times we do not scrutinise so closely and any cameras would actually be fine.
