Question cable modem

good evening all, i have a vi**in cable system and i have a 2 meg connection speed using a scientific antenna box is there a way of unlocking it so i can receive a faster speed

It's not a good idea to hack your subscribed box - you could be easily detected and would be asking for trouble.

would you suggest leaving subscribed box connected and use a splitter, or would it not matter

I would suggest leaving your subscribed box connected and use it for another PC in the house, or VOIP service or whatever - then it's connected and active
