Trouble scanning

Hope someone can help, I've just flashed my dbox with lincsat's image everthing ok until i try to scan, it only gives me the UK- cable as a choice, and when i scan using that i get all the channels but then says they are all unavailable.
In other images i've used it gave me the choice of cable provider 6887 or 6952 when scanning which is what i need. Could anyone please point me in the right directions thanks

Have you pressed the blue button and set your location settings from the "location scanning" menu. You can then do a fast scan in a few minutes.

With Fast scan off, UK Cable is a bruteforce with both 6887 and 6952 symbol rates included.

You can always load your services and bouquets from your old image directly into it.

Thanks for the reply, tried the blue button my area not included, I've put my services and bouquets in the var/tuxbox/config/zapit file (is that the correct place?) and did another scan this time it did'nt find any channels at all, please can you help.
