Hi All
Newby virgin in all senses with this forum. I have had a V+ box installed recently and tried to setup the box in another room. the wiring is OK, I have a picture when the cable is plugged into the TV direct from what ever channel is on the V+ box. I have changed the V+ settings to be just Widesceen as the other TV is a normal simple 28 in widesceen TV. I have rebooted using the 2 different symbol rates but still cannot get any channels. Can anyone please help. |

Right start from scratch and plug the box back in at its original connection point and see if it fires up and works just to rule out any box problems.
In my opinion I would check the coax wiring again, you only need 1 strand of the outer core touching the stinger and its game over mate, You ain't going to get a sausage ![]() Hang on a minute i've just read what you saying. Are you just running the coax from the vbox to the other box? If you have that isn't going to work full stop. You need to connect it via an F splitter from the main cable before it goes into the first box. Cable > F-Splitter> 1 cable off to V+ 1 cable off to EuroMax ![]() Failing that its going to be a tech call form Virgin mate if you've screwed up your v-box ![]() Cheers Nano Last edited by Nanochickin; 20-10-07 at 02:41 PM. |
