eurovox 2006 not responding at all

hi there

i've got a eurovox max 2006 which stopped working completely
no LED coming up. i've musured all the voltages on the power supply and all ok. went into ebay and there is some one selling new power supply. is it worth it? any idea

had the same problem with a maxv 2008... box would not power up at all.
sent it back to the supplier who replaced it under the 12 month warranty

thats the problem, a friend has given it to me. i am waitting for a JTAG from ebay, but i've got no idea how this work..........will it work?

Hi there, I have the same problem on 3 boxes.

Box 1: RED LED and part boot. Does not get as far as the 0000 etc. Stops half way

Box 2: Red LED will not come out of standby

Box 3: Red LED. Comes out of standby after a lot of switches off and on but takes forever. When it does boot I get everything ok but it has the Green, Orange and Red lights on at same time.

Will JTAGing them fix all of them.

Has the JTAG fixed the standby issue for anyone successfully?

sorry mate i was a way for few days. i have received the Jtag but according to the information ihave received with it says:
"after connecting jtag turn box on and wait until it has booted"

but the box is dead? and the JTAG HAS A VERY VERY SHORT CABLE..... YOU WOULD EXPECT A LONGER CABLE..........AT LEAST?
