Default Posting a pic

When I re-size my pics jpeg to 97.7kb, the site wont allow me too post it, I get upload error.

Any idea`s?

Yes I have the same problem, JPEG of 3kB won't even upload, same error.

Ah - sounds like I left the attachments folder without write permissions - will get that fixed now.

I cant upload an animated gif as an avatar - it says thats not allowed. Not that it matters as I rather like this hotbird 6 launch pic

I've had problems with the size of JPEG's before, where Photoshop (and winblows) reports them as 95K, but the site reports them as over 100k and too big for upload.

Brian, any chance of easing off the jpg limit a bit?, even with the compression 97 odd kb doesnt leave you much to play with.
