Erm he didnt charge anything for unbricking the modem. The only thing i had to pay was postage which was £2.50 there and £2.50 back. So £5 in all.
The seller is really nice he is called "cableguy9296" on eBay so check his items or give him a message.
I think to unbrick them he had to lift the TSOP off or something along the lines and reflash it.

Yeah if anyone has informtaion on this it would be much appreciated. I know alot of people that are on these modems, and we need them working again.

The internet should be free and everything on it!! Destroy the corporations!!

That's good then, lifting TSOP's isn't easy without the right (expensive) equipment.

I have found an excellent site for easily resetting TSOP, and a couple of good user guides. Will be trying to sort something out tomorrow to give this a go. Will let everyone know of my progress.

Cheers Tee_111.
Ok so upon searching this site more, I noticed some one has already got a link up to the guide I found. Look for the Online Haynes Guide in the UK Cable forum, as I can't post links just yet.
