any explainations are most welcome
well when you flash the truman mod when you key in 9339 you will see 3 options one is keyeditor and card share you open up the card share menu and select truman share save and reboot box..
you will need you box to be connected to the pc via rs232 for this to work..
you open up truman share goto options select the comport the box is on...place the latest key files in the vplug folder and away you go ;d

ill see if i can upload it again somewhere.

goto this /?d=65DFXG0O <<

hope this is acceptable to the mods

also to add to the saga of the sl65/12 ectect
with a little bit of looking you can find fresh daily .bin key files and key uploader. that works good.

im finding trumanshare a little bit shakey so i will go for the manual update...

if you do use the above system for updating turn off the share on the rx as it can lock the box up and you will see nothing is clearing.

im loving this very cheap little box

All seems to be working ok. Does some strange things if I try pressing any of the receiver buttons (I have the 3 button version), but just use the remote and it behaves.

Yorks.

glad to hear some more good reports...it seams like the 3 buttons on the sl65/12 ect do have a small problem in regards its not been mapped out right but who cares .
gas anyone noticed how quick the blind scan is i think the times @ 4mhz steps are up there with the big boys :O but i wish and maybe i should post this on the truman support forum can have have a selectable bandwith scan say 2,3 and 4 mhz steps..if that happens this box would cause a bit of a sturr in the sub 50 rx market i recon

has anyone got any figures on what the turners are in there boxes ?

ok been playing around with the truman .abs file. i kindly had some tools sent to me to allow this...i am trying and i have had some luck with this..just got to upload the flash when im brave enough lol

i have found the string that does the blind scan and i have set it for 2mhz steps
i have removed the truman logo and have added a uk truman logo .(hate photoshop).
i have also removed the sats that are not viewable in the uk and eu to give a little more program space and i have also removed the embedded favs.
changed the radio logo..

for those who are having upgrade problems with the patched truman mod..remember to power off the reciever and keep on pressing the power button untill you see the serial port test finished..i think this sets the upload in to action before the rx posts so in theroy at leased with the comag sl65/12 b1 even if i hekk up i dont need a jtag to get it back again

still not having much luck with truman share , if anyone has had any luck with it im me plz :d.

also this firmware will be a clean version with no keys added..

regards andysly

Cheers andy. I have added a link to this thread from the

'How to patch Comag/Silvercrest SL65/12 or Tevion receiver', as the modified Truman firmware is far more up to date.

As far as patching the 3 button version - I launch the ugrading tool and press start, then disconnect and reconnect power on receiver to start port communication and download.
