I read somewhere on A-l-s-a-t that loading a new key bin file would wipe out the AU on Pr****re etc. Any idea if that's true?

Cheers

i dont know tbh .
i thought the au was within the firmware and not the keyfile so as long as the prem keys are in there au should work...

but to be honest i just dont know lol

well shall find out.. if it does just upload the trumankeys...

but i did notice the iq keys are clearing a lot more aswell...

blessing or burden time will tell....

a trick for you all . easy one at that

fed up with the german boot picture want to change it.. try this

find ya fave channel when you see an image you want as your boot image .
press pause in the bottom right hand corner an prompt will ask you to press f1 ..f1 is the audio key below the red button..
press the audio button you will get a little menu asking you to save to boot (red) radio(green) none (yellow) select red or green it will save it to the box and will be used as your boot screen.or radio screen..

I think I know what happened. After a frustrating couple of hours messing around with the channels on my box, I decided to try the Ali Editor. But after downloading the channels from the receiver, I soon saw that the Group setting of the channels listed in the editor does not correspond to the Fav category on the box - e.g. all the sports favs appear in the News group. Very confusing!!

Is there no alternative to the Ali Editor? It's such a pile of cr*p - it won't even 'save as' - the command simply doesn't save anything under the new file name but saves it under the old name, thus overwriting the original. I haven't found anything else that will handle channel lists in .abs format.

Puzzling. The last keys I uploaded were Yumatu from Monday evening and Prem is still fine here (though D+ has gone down). Did you try powering the receiver off and on? - worked for me once. In fact, I completely power off mine after every use. Not even sure the Prem keys have changed recently - nothing about it in the usual place.

Just a thought - maybe it's because we're using different EMUs? - I've got TrumanCapote's 1.3.78 with the Hotbird, Hipasat and Astra1 channels and favs.

New emu out today - see new thread.

Cheers
Sol

Smile Re: Mod Truman for SL65(B1-6pin)

Hi all,

I am new to the scene but with the information given here I have been able to upgrade my SL65 B1 to the Truman firmware. I am very interested in the Trumanshare/VPlug/Gbox software but I have no idea how to get it working. Is there any beginners guide to getting this running for the SL65?

Thank you all for the information provided so far.

Paul.

Paul, welcome! Glad to hear that you got the Truman FW working. I have no clue about Trumanshare and I haven't seen instructions anywhere. I think TrumanCapote looked into it, but I've no idea how far he got.
