Musky, welcome.

Go to the site I mention in post #78 - everything you need is there, assuming you have an SL65 and not a Truman (not usually found in the UK).

Welcome back! Not much changing ATM. All the major packages (except D+ of course) are still open and AUing on 19E and 13E, with the B1 using either Truman/Yumatu or Smart FW.

Hi guys, I'm in a bit of a pickle here....I'm new to this whole thing and I tried to patch a Skyline DSR-400 (from B&Q) using the same process you've listed for an SL65 but the remote control was unresponsive when it came to selecting a language option at the startup screen so I couldn't get any further...worse than that, I've got no backup of my original firmware to fall back on...the ALI chip is the same as the SL65 as is the software e.t.c.

I've tried a few methods but now I'm not getting anything apart from weird symbols on the front of the console...

Any ideas before I throw myself off a tall building?
