Cool Mod Truman for SL65(B1-6pin)

ok lets start my first proper post on here..

over the past week i have been playing around with the above mod..the original had 2 problems 1 was the fact that the sat lists was very small indeed onlly covering astra and hotbird and the second was the auto search (blindscan) crashed lol

anyway after a little help from tc at sh he pointed me to the right tools.
anyway tonight i patched the original mod truman 190 and now the blindscan and sat listings have been sorted....prem is au and working fine d1gitv is ok d+ is good alas with manual key entry .

and it is working on my sl65/12 b1 sweet as cartman would say....

so if you would like to try this one goto d v b upload and look for this file.
truman_EMU_1.3.78_revised sl65 auto scan fixed full sat lists

everything you need is in that file :d
remember if flashing this box for a first time at the update.3x3 select allcode+bootloader in the update type box..
rest is history..

remember thou i have fully tested this mod like everything its at your own risk..

best regards

OK mate as promised.

I have loaded your mod and it works well Comprehensive list of sats.

Can you give a description of the procedure you followed for fixing the 'truman' firmware for the comag/sl65/tevion using the Ali universal fixer.

This little receiver, with it's recent support, is becoming a serious contender!

its easy really first you need to make a folder in the root of c drive . you will need to call this folder Documents.

second find the patcher and extract it to the c:\Documents

then you need to goto the truman site and get the truman 190 firmware and place the abs in the c:\Documents folder..

open the Documents folder and start the ali patcher you will get a box like this (pic below)

you first click the button marked abrir and load up the abs file from your c:\documents folder it will load up the abs and give you 3 boxes mando, audio and display.. below there will a small white box with comag next to it.select the comag option in mando display and audio..when you have done that click the button marked parchrar . and let it do its thing.. when it has finished you will see a new .abs file in the c:\documents folder this is the patched file and you upload as normal

bit simple i know but im having a getting trashed day

hope this helps .

Thanks mate. Good instructions - easy to follow.

Once I ran it from C:\documents it worked fine.
