Default Satellite installers in London...

Hi fellas.

Can you tell me if there are any good satellite installers in my area? I live in Catford, London.

Also, can you recommend a good 80 to 90 cm dish to motorize?

Regards

MB

Hi MB, and welcome to the forum

I'm afraid I don't have any experience of installers in your area, so I can only suggest that you check out the yellow pages, or www.yell.co.uk.

Make sure you quiz any potential firms on motorised installs, as many won't want to know/can't do it.

As far as your dish goes, there are several good choices you could make.

To give you somewhere to start, the Triax TD88 (88cm) dish is excellent, has a very usefull folding LNB arm for reduced storage if you should ever need to do that, performs very well, and can be had for as little as £49.99 with free online delivery from parabolic.co.uk.

Even cheaper is the Raven Gemini G90 which is also an excellent choice for motorising. Can be had for under £40.

The daddy is probably the Gibertini 90cm. Superb performer, though the mount looks cheap and nasty. Can be had for a very good price on eBay at the moment (£80 inc. delivery).

Still hard to beat the Andrews Channel Master as well.

HTH.
