Default Newbies, welcome to our world

Hi there. You found us!

Well, you might read some other boards and be blown away by the techno-babble.

You might be inhibited by the ferocious flaming that the poster before got for asking a stupid question.

Not here.

If you have a genuine interest in getting into satellite television viewing over and above having the Sky installer round, then this is a good place to start.

We'll answer any question, stupid or not. We'll do it willingly, without patronising you, and take it at your speed.

Why?

Because it's a fun hobby, and we want to spread the word.

Sky might have a monopoly in the UK, as indeed other providers across Europe do - but that's not healthy.

You have a right to choose, and it's your legal right. We're here to help you.

We are in the process of writing a number of beginners guides and how-to's which will be available in January, so please check back often.

In the meantime, please feel free to ask whatever you want, and we'll do our best to fix you up.

Regards,

SH
