Default Can I use my old analogue Sky kit for anything these days?

Well you could use it for a doorstop!

Seriously though, there are a handful of services left you can watch in English.

19E has CNBC, CNN, and Eurosport. and 30 odd German services
13E has BBC World, and half a dozen foreign channels including a couple of Hungarians on it.
5W has the main French services on it.

If you are interested in putting old kit back into use, Have a look at

This old equipment is an ideal introduction to satellite tv as its cheap - you can get kitted out for a few pounds using secondhand equipment, and its reasonably easy to align the dish.

DONT spend more than a few pounds on an analogue receiver - the transmissions will cease in the next five years or so.
