Hello,
I've just bought a second hand dreambox 7000, but the image it has installed (hydra zeus) does't seem to open any extra channels. Is there a better image now that i can update over the internet? I have broadband via a router, and a 120g hard disk and 128mb usb stick. Thank you. |

Hi Maestro,
I use the SDT DaVinci 5.3 on flash and a number, including DaVinci 5.4 on USB. Whilst I have a number of images including RuDream, Gemini and others I like the DaVinci images at this time. The images themselves dont make any difference to the channels that clear but they do make a difference to the speed of zapping and addons that can be used.

I love DaVinci too
![]() I have DMM 1.09 based CVS version in flash, DaVinci 5.0 and Gemini 2.10 on USB. I also like the PLi images, which are very similar to the Hydra images. All of them have some Internet update capability, but you'll find that you could also get Zeus up and running perfectly well if you threw some new emu's and keys at it. Hydra used some slightly unusual directory structures (compared to the other big teams and images of the time) so just follow your nose and you should be OK. SH |
