Default Hotbird 7A launch postponed again???

The Arianespace web stream is currently carrying the message 'POSTPONED LAUNCH - LANCEMENT REPORTÉ'

Which translates as 'LAUNCH PUT BACK'.

Not sure if that means that the launch is scrubbed for tonight or not.

Delayed due to telemetry problems. From the Eutel site:

HOT BIRD™ 7A :: 13° East
The launch of Eutelsat's HOT BIRD™ 7A satellite, scheduled for February 24, has been delayed. At the request of Alcatel Alenia Space, a verification is being carried out on the telemetry circuit. Further information will be provided shortly.

Launch scrubbed.

Launch postponed for verification of the HOT BIRDTM 7A payload

Tonight's launch of the heavy-lift Ariane 5 ECA has been postponed following a request by HOT BIRDTM 7A satellite manufacturer Alcatel Alenia Space to verify the telemetry circuit.

A new launch date will be determined in the new few hours.

Eutelsat's HOT BIRD 7A is one of two payloads installed on the Ariane 5 ECA, accompanying the SPAINSAT spacecraft to be operated by Hisdesat.
