There are 2 versions of the TM-1000. The older version is the straight TM-1000. The later is the TM-1000 Super.

The original version had very slow blind scan. The Super is reported to be very fast blind scanning.

If you are expecting to be using the blind scan, it would be worth finding a super version.

What else does 'super' do over the previous version?

As far as I know it just speeds up the blind scan - on the original boxes it could take hours to scan something like 28E....

Dont know if the other machines are the same, although the answer is probably as the software is going to be similar across the range, but tweaked for individual hardware requirements
