In theory no, you'll need the Conax CAM (version 4.00e) or possibly a MultiCAM like the T-Rex (Dragon).

Not sure which MultiCAMs are compatable with your Techno though. The official Conax 4.00e CAM should definitely work.

However...

With a suitable patch (almost certain your patch would have came from a l s a t) it may well be possible, as they emulate hardware CAM's.

Only sure way to tell is to insert the card. If it doesn't work, buy a Conax V4.00e CAM

Not quite - the box of tricks inside it emulates Conax(and the other encryptions)

Yes, I've seen that ad on eBay. Digitalb is fussy though. Officially only the 4.00e pukka CAM works, but in reality the patch may well do it.

Don't believe everything you read on eBay. Sat-forums are littered with dead and dying eBay buyers who believed all the sales blurb

Some of the ads make us choke laughing!

I think that there is a good chance that the alsat patch will work, but you'll have to try it and see.

stick hi, sorry for the delay

i have never used a patch, i used to have digi alb about year and a half ago and for the football i used to put the card in the top slot, but sometimes i have to say the football picture use to freeze now and then, i use to blame the card or the cam, but come to think of it, it work well on the films and from what i remember no problems with the films. So it was the football on the odd ocasions

Anyone considering buying the DigiAlb package for the footy - please note DA are in the process of closing out the football coverage on standard cards - looks like they have been got at by Uncle Rupes goons. The new premium sport cards will be retailing at around 300 ukp.
