Default ART signal problems - news from Technomate

ART NEWS
18th March 2006
ART has changed skewing which has affected the signal on 12015 Hotbird. We have found a solution by adjusting the LNB, Monoblock, etc by turning the LNB clockwise between 3 to a maxmimum of 10mm whilst standing in front of the dish. This will fix this issue.

ART SIGNAL ISSUE
17th March 2006
Last week ART changed their broadcasting system, causing intermittent signal fluctuations by more than 35-50% signal drop. As a result, it is a broadcasting issue with ART which is out of our control. However, we are in the process of producing new software to rectify this. We have also tested 9 different brands of LNB on 80cm and 1.2m dishes, finding that the signal is dropping. This affects some of the tested LNB which have narrow bandwidths. When the signal is at 70%, the aforementioned type of LNB will seize up. A wider bandwidth LNB will work up to about 50%, and then they will stop working. This will only be short-lived. We are in the process of finding a solution. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

You could have watched it on TPS foot with todays AES key, or on Canal + Deporte 1 using an AU patch
