Hi, I decided against anything to do with Sky and bought instead a FORTEC LIFETIME CLASSIC Satellite receiver from Maplins. It receives all the free to air channels from 28E (all BBC, ITV and the usual shopping stuff). Turnt he dish 6 degrees and there are all the German, Cuban, Andlucian and other channels. I can get all the radio channels from each satellite including all BBC and English stuff from 28E and foreign stations ( although I can't speak their languages!!) from 19E. The only thing it does not do is pick up encoded Sky channels, but I can live with that.
Best Wishes

It's also true that you can still get an Al7bar patch for the Fortecstars to open some encrypted channels, including Polsat.
Get it here: www.al7bar-soft1.com
