Iv not used this receiver,from DR dish thay say the tuner is rubbish.On that alone i would not get one.I should not be shocked @ there tuners,as Foretec Star has always had bad tuners in there receivers.I guess it will be about the same stamp as my magic world plus.

Is HD really wort it? i can understand the reason behind it but for the cost and hassle it seems a lot for a little.

I bought the pace 810 quite cheaply to see what this hd was all about.For the money it was quite good in picture quality but even after a few software upgrades it still lacked a few things.So i re sold the pace got almost what i paid for it.
Then i splashed out on the clarke tech hd 5000 combo with free view.It does have an emu after re flashing with a patch.It also auto updates on premiers now.
Also it is pvr through usb and xternal hardrive 160 gig.So its now possible to record freeview or sat

It is also possible to replay useing media player classic on your pc it plays the streams.
Also has multi card reader 2 x ci slots.And you can load patches and keys from usb or serial lead.
Also play mp3 or show photos through usb on reciver.So i am well pleased with this clarke tech.

If somebody has some expirience with Kathrein UFS 910 HD receiver, is it similar to Drembox, is the sintax the same and file structure, and is cardsherring similar and where I can find softwer for it?

First of all Kathrein UFS910 is a quality product compared to a Dreambox.

Secondly Dreambox does not have any HDTV receiver for sale, it's still a dream.

Kathrein supports all EMUs like NewCS, MGcamd, Evocamd, Camd3, Gbox.
