Default whats the difference between a dox1 & dobx2?

could somone plz tell me the difference between a dbox1 & dbox2 & if dbox1 are any good?

Hi kohaty21.

I don't know much about the original dbox, so can't tell you the differences. The dbox2 is a fine unit, if a little long in the tooth now. Most of them are cable boxes as I'm sure you know, but there are satellite-tuner variants. Neutrino was the dominant range of images (still are AFAIK) but I suppose the whole dbox scene was overtaken by the Dreambox receivers.

Unless you have the chance of a cheap dbox and want to play, I'd save the extra and get a Dreambox. Far more support and choice around these days.

If you're interested in cable, then I'm afraid we don't cover that here.
