How many do you want?

1024 cards but it gets a bit unweildy.

Is that clients or cards Jim?

Is there a 'realistic' working limit for either?

I am talking about around 10 PCs with emulator(ProgDVB+winCSC) or 10 DBoxes. So it should be ok to run, isn't it? What about 100Mbit network, would it have any problem when all the PC on LAN requires same or different channels?

Well your 10/100 network certainly won't be a problem, and I don't think for minute that 10 clients will be too many. Certain cards are more limited than others as to how many clients they can support, but (although I'm not the expert) what you're proposing sounds perfectly OK.

10 boxes wont be any problem. 600 + work ok.

I have not had a lot of luck with pc connections. mainly because its difficult to analyse what is going on.
