Hi Cliff and welcome to the forum
![]() The Lemon 20S is apparently a pretty good box for the money, and there are 'patches' available for it. That's not the case with the other Lemons AFAIK. If you're hesitant though (and I think I would be just a little) I'd go with the tried and trusted Technomate. In fact the 'standard' Technomate for patching is the TM-1500 CI+ Super, but there is plenty of support for the 76xx and 77xx too. What sort of use were you planning on putting it to, and what other components do you have in mind? STICK

So far i have purchased a 1m dish ( e-bay) (( well its a start )), i plan to have a motorized set up- and the next purchase was going to be a box. which i will now go for the TM-1500 C1+super as recommended by yourself
Which lnb and motor would you recommenced as think the lnb on the dish requires replacing. When i get the box i will set it up as* a fixed system for a start and then purchase the motor after, The picture will be fed through my projector set up and use - anything that is going 2 to 4 hours a day. I will keep you informed of the progress, |

Sounds like a decent plan
![]() I think that the MTI Blue line LNB's are the best value for money. Can be had for less than a tenner if you shop around (eBay etc). Other good makes include Invacom and Inverto. There are some other makes that cost well over £100 but I think you'd be hard-pressed to find much difference. Just go for 0.6 dB or lower, and it'll be fine. Personally I would test the LNB that you have (as long as it's 'universal'). It may look a bit tired on the outside, but probably works just fine. For motors it's a straight shoot-out for me between the STAB HH-120 and the Moteck SG2100A. I wouldn't even bother looking at anything else. The STAB is more expensive, and I prefer the Moteck slightly anyway. Your 1m dish is the biggest I would go though, and try and keep it as low and out-of-the-wind as possible. STICK
