Default Motorised Dish info

I have an old wall stand that I can fit a motorised dish to. I was thinking of getting this http://www.***********************/mot...0273-15-5.html also a new dish and LNB

If I bought a receiver such as a Humax 2000 can it / how does it power the dish etc? It would be using my old cable that I believe is in good nick and runs an analogue system.

Default Re: Motorised Dish info

The Moteck SG2100A (which also carries numerous other badges, including the Technomate one) and the STAB HH120 are probably the top two motors on the market right now, and will happily carry a dish up to 1m in diameter.

The Motecks can be had for around £40 - £45 if you shop around, e.g. eBay. Several folks I know who were on a budget bought them from Germany or Holland.

Read some of the early posts from our beginners section for lots more info, and also our motorised dish how-to in the utilities section.

The motor is powered via the coax by a DiSEqC 1.2 enabled receiver.
