Want to move from rescued Sky box and dish, and to have some French and German channels. Possibly by the route of multiple LN B's. Lived in germany for 10 years and France for 2, have been back in Ireland now for years and would like to get a taste again without getting on a plane. As I started off with donated system would like to continue down the free or cheap route. Still see quite a few of the early dishes around here, big Bright Grey things and so getting out the begging bowl to get a dish for 5 or 10 Euros.
P.S. Never used a spell check on a forum before, must say it works well rgds |

Hi there!
![]() Glad you found some of our stuff useful. It's nice to know that all those hours slaving over a hot keyboard were not all for nothing ![]() We'll be glad to help you out with any advice you need setting up your budget system. Sounds like you can scrounge a dish. The bigger the better, but at least 70cm would be needed in Ireland. That should get you somewhere, but I guess beggars can't be choosers! Your best bet is, as you say, a twin LNB setup for Hotbird and Astra 1. That would probably need an 80 or 90cm dish. You'll probably have to ditch the digibox and get yourself a s/h FTA box too. Good luck in your quest ![]()
