Hi James, welcome to the forum. Lets see, a zone 2 dish is a 60cm, so you should get:
13E / 19E / 5W & 30W with ease. And you should get the stronger transponders off 42E / 39E / 16E / 7E / possibly 5E / 53E. You might find my digital website useful: http://www.digitalsat.co.uk/ (put the letters back together - one of BGSticks filters breaks the url..... )this shows the satellites that are easily available from south east scotland using fairly battered equipment

Hi James! :welc4:
There's loads you can do with your setup as AS says. There are also loads of encrypted channels available at the moment (with a patch). Have a read in our Technomate section, or use the search function here. Feel free to ask any questions you like. We'll do all we can to help you expand your satellite horizons ![]()

A 'patch' is a piece of third party software which is grafted onto the original firmware to extend it's functionality.
What you're referring to as 'built-in CAMS' are (if I remember correctly on your receiver) two Viaccess CAMS. These patches emulate (in software only) the operation of other types of CAMs - for encryption types other than Viaccess. In comes as one file (original firmware and additional code), which you load into your receiver from your PC via the serial port on the back of the STB. You can switch the patch on or off via the remote control if you so wish at any time. HTH

Yes m8, Alsat and Satdudez carry the Darkman patches and loaders for the Technomates.
Be careful to get the correct versions for your model though. Flash the wrong one and your receiver is toast. Don't let this worry you unduly. Just be careful. Some English audio is available on the Taquilla film channels etc. The patch will also open the Digital+ package on 19E, and maybe the Premiere package on the same bird. It'll may also do Digiturk on 7E. You can read up here on how to perform the flash and change keys using the remote. Most cartoons don't seem to retain the English audio. I think it's because they are so much easier to dub into other languages, and the providers then turn off the English. Not always though. I would try for 19E at the moment. A stronger signal and way more channels available, including FTA. STICK

Digital+ is duplicated across 19.2E and 30W. It's very similar in content and the patch opens both. The patch is not just a Hispasat patch
